HOUSTON (November 3, 2006) - Quantum Solutions for Business (Q4B) was named today the third fastest growing technology firm in Houston, based on results for the 2006 Fast Tech 50 Awards competition, sponsored by the Houston Business Journal to recognize the 50 fastest growing Houston-based high-tech business ranked by percentage of revenue growth in 2005.

"We had an extremely successful year thanks to an incredible team supported by our highly scalable methodologies and tools," said Nick Tubach, president and co-founder of Q4B. "We're honored to be among the top Fast Tech 50 winners."

Q4B pioneered a concept called Managed Recruitment Solutions (MRS); combining people, processes, tools and leadership to help clients assess their organizational capabilities and needs (as it pertains to talent acquisition), and then design, implement and operate a recruitment solution tailored to each customer. It provides for the three most important drivers behind a successful recruiting program: 1) centralized accountability, 2) scalability via process optimization and adherence, and 3) regulatory compliance.

During its start-up phase in 2004, the company invested considerably to develop the process and supporting technology behind this highly scalable delivery model, and found new careers for about 10 people. In 2005, Q4B realized tremendous growth because the MRS model gave the company the capacity to recruit well over 100 new hires per month on behalf of clients. For technology firms, such as Samsung and Dell, which must move quickly to ramp-up for new production, the MRS process fills the talent pipeline and empowers businesses to remain competitive in acquiring the best talent.

Top level executives of the Fast Tech 50 companies were honored at a luncheon in downtown Houston on November 3. The winners were also announced in the Fast Tech 50 Special Section of the Houston Business Journal published on Friday, November 3, and distributed at the even. More than 600 businessmen and women attended this year's awards ceremony.
