recruiting services

Our History

After helping several companies develop industry-leading organizations with top talent, Q4B's founding members began recognizing two recurring themes:

about q4bThe best companies usually have the best talent
about q4bMany companies don't do what it takes to attract, hire and retain high-performing employees

These ideas, combined with seasoned executive experience and expertise in the field of talent acquisition, led Nick Tubach to start Q4B with Scott Beardsley in July of 2004.

A rarity in today's conservative investment climate, a Houston-based venture capital firm funded Q4B before the company had ever gone to market.

Most staffing companies find it challenging to successfully bridge the gap between recruitment consulting and managed recruiting services. Also, few technology companies understand the recruiting industry. Q4B's leadership team provides the best of both worlds.

Since its inception, Q4B has constantly worked to perfect, document and implement its processes, methodologies, frameworks and necessary technologies to allow for the efficient scaling of both its business and service offerings.

Q4B's collective and diverse leadership experience and strong ties to the VC world has allowed the firm to quickly become a respected player in the recruiting and staffing industry. Q4B has successfully competed against the larger staffing conglomerates and RPO providers, winning the confidence of industry-leading organizations such as Applied Materials, Eurway, BindView, BMC Software, Carter & Burgess, Dell, FreeScale Semiconductors, Microsoft, Radio Shack, Samsung, and more.

In 2007, Q4B announced the expansion of its Recruitment Operations Center, which allowed the company to extend its services to the global marketplace. It also welcomed Steve Goldberg to its leadership team as Vice President of Business Development.
